My younger brother was able to take this nice bull on a OTC unit on public land this past friday morning. This is one of the best bulls ive seen come out of this unit that is typically raghorn infested. I was unable to witness this hunt due to I was up in unit 10 helping a good buddy out on deer hunt. As the story goes; My dad located this bull at first light traveling with 8 or so cows on a ridge top a half mile away or so and was able to make a move on them as they crested the ridge. My brother and my dad were able to come over the top of the ridge on the bull and had him at 80-100 yards filing through the aspens. 3 well placed shots with the old ruger 270 and it was a wrap. My uncle and a family friend were also able to punch their tags on a bull.
