Let everyone else debate ATVs and trailcameras... dont let the word get out about all of the internet browsable Live Cam's set up all over Utah... ;)

I saw the Rhino...very cool, I put it up and minimized it and when I hear something walking I'll flip it back up...saw some little rodent thing scurry across too...its like hunting at work!

That is cool. There are some water buffalo there right now. And then some little rodent type thing walked across the back. It's kind of hard to tell what things are but very cool anyways.

Eelgrass you see the most stuff before 11 AM EST. Dall pony up
those other live cams. Share please.

Are these cams only in Africa? Reason I ask is there was just a whitetail doe at the water, or is there deer in Africa that look exactly like whitetails??

Geoff

Geoff
That was probably an impala doe. They look very similar to
whitetails except for the tail.

AZbowhunter those buffalo are cape buffalo. They will usually run but if you wound one and have to go into tall grass after it, you are putting your life at risk.

Guys maybe you oughta shield the children and women's eyes when the baboons show up. They have no shame. LOL

Stickerpt,

It was no Impala that's for sure, I am 99.999999% positive it was a whitetail doe as It gave a very clear shot of all sides front and back. I was just wondering if maybe some of of these cameras were in fact on ranches in Texas where they have all of the African game and native game also....

Geoff- I don't know what you saw, but this cam is really in Africa...unless they're somehow faking nighttime and totally lieing. Keep watching...it should be getting dark soon.

"Nkorho Pan is brought to you by Africam.com, ranked as one of the top African wildlife sites on the web. We pioneered the live web cam industry in Africa back in 1998 when we broadcast live images from some of the wildest places on the continent. This was a world first and fast gained popularity world wide. Technology has moved on and we are proud to bring you the first of our live streaming cameras on the Africam Wildlife Channel.

Nkorho Pan is a natural water hole in the prestigious Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, in South Africa. Nkorho pan is named after Nkorho bush Lodge which gets it name from the Shangaan derivative for the call of the yellow-billed hornbill, a common and unusual looking bird from this area."

I look at a lot of whitetails her ein WI and I would have bet anything anybuddy wanted it was a whitetail. Anyway for me it seems to be not working for most of the day. It does not stay connected and when you reconnect it is the same scene over and over. Either that or that same bird flys from right to left at the same time every time. I'll keep watching, when I was away from the computer some one else saw other animals.

That's pretty cool! I didn't see any big animals. I saw what looked like bats or some kind of big bugs flying by in the dark. They looked like bottle rockets or shooting stars...

I am hoping I get to see the African whitetails though (LOL)!!!

I saw some type of animal that looked like a deer. I suppose it could have been an Impala, and I also saw some hyenas. Pretty cool.

>That's nice thanks Now if Dallan

>LOL

Heck no... last time I posted web addresses of some cams I visit they got hit so hard by others that some of them are now password protected.

hint: use google to locate cameras ;)

I saw some of these earlier today

Waterbuck, however female so maybe its a waterdoe

The sound is crazy on that site. Everything that walks in sounds really loud. Then I heard some dogs barking and evrything ran away. This water hole must be real close to the lodge or something!

If you look close you will see a eel in the grass. Sneaking around watching turtles and Triplek.

Ya my Dad was showing some of the workers the Baboons when the one started pleasuring himself. It did get a heck of a laugh.

Okay bogey, I thought I was the only one who saw that baboon doing his thing in front of the camera. He had it made.....scratch scratch, spanky spanky. I was laughing so hard I had to show a co-worker! This stuff is so addicting.

Wiley, telling everyone watching a baboon pleasure himself is addicting could possible give us the .....wrong impression of you, LOL,
Sorry could not resist.

I have been watching it for about an hour now, nothing has showed up except the comet bugs and the crickets. Pretty funny how every other person who walks by my cubicle hears the crickets through my headphones on my desk, but can't tell where the sound is coming from.

What am I doing wrong? The link brings the website up, but it always says Media Inactive at the bottom of the screen. At first I thought it was at night, and therefore a black screen, but it is black night and day. What am I missing?

I have it on right now. Can anyone identify what that sound is?

"RKBA....ALL THINGS CONSIDERED"

I've been watching for a couple hours now and all I hear is heavy breathing, LOL!
Does sound like the birds are waking up though.
This is addicting. My boy says when something comes up to the water hole, he's going to shoot it.

"RKBA....ALL THINGS CONSIDERED"

I saw a Utard drive by on a Polaris and throw a Keystone Light can in the water, do some donuts in the mud, then drive off with a fat native chick.

On the quad was a sign that read "THE ONLY bOBCAT WONDERING WHERE THE REST OF THE FAT GIRLS ARE."

Was the fat native chick wearing a tavern jacket or one from the casino? I think I saw a monkey flinging poo!!! Oh wait... that was Moosie making "brownies"!

I think there is a house there. Or a lodge or something like that. Some of the women on my mommy board were talking about it. I'm pretty sure someone is manning the camera most of the time, too.

My kids are addicted to it too! We were just watching a wilebeest calf running and playing. There were a few impalas as well. Pretty cool!

DID YOU SEE THAT????? OMG!!!! A Rhino came in with her calf, and out of nowhere two African Bull Turtles came streakin into the picture and snatched the calf. The poor mother didn't even have time to react! Africa in raw form!

Sent an e-mail to the Nakaro Lodge, asking for rates. They responded, R 1395-00 per person per night. I thought "damn it" $2800.00 per night for me and my wife. Then I checked out the exchange rates, .013 cents on the dollar or RAND, whatever. Turn's out we could do this for about $450.00 for two of us per night. Includes all meals, two safari's per day (one in the morning, one in the evening), 3 meals a day + snacks and drinks.

POOP! I want to go real bad.

Naw! That's a BYU cheerleader. Note the big A$$ and big ears. Plus she's grazing.

The elephants are there right now. I usually see them in the evening. I have not seen girafes or rhinos yet. I am looking for a large predator!

I should clarify that statement. The elephants are usually there in their evening (our morning).

There's about 50 head of water buffalo on there now! Yeah - it's in Texas for sure!

How sad is it for those lions. They can't go anywhere without a convoy of safari vehicles following them. They looked like they had just failed on a chase and all four of them were extremely out of breath for a long time. They just laid there breathing hard. After it got a little darker, they moved off into the nearby brush and the stupid vehicles followed them with spotlights. Then the Hienas and jackels came in for a drink. The Male lion decided that he needed to run them off. That was fun to watch.

>I just can't take this thing
>serious....there's a huge house/hotel in
>the background. This isn't Africa.
>

They don't live in houses in Africa????? It is actually the Nkorho Bush Lodge, according to the description below.

Whoever is in charge of panning and zooming this camera was looking around last night (morning in Africa), and found a kill site where a Cape Buffalo had been killed and eaten. There were Hienas, jackels, vultures, and the lions were still laying there on the bank of the pond. 2 pretty big males, and a couple of females. Now I know why they were so exhausted. I'd be pretty tired after killing a cape buffalo with my teeth too.

It is easy to become addicted to watching this waterhole........great fun! I'm just a little concerned about the water, it's looking a bit nasty the last week or so...getting greener!
