Live Tracking GPS

I am looking to upgrade my GPS. Have any of you tried to use the Garmin Connect app while hunting so other people (with permission) know where you are at on the mountain? I am curious if Garmin Connect will pair with my cell phone and make my location known while I am out in the field. Supposedly they have LiveTracking. My wife hates when I hunt alone, and I prefer to hunt alone. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I am considering getting a Garmin 64st with Bluetooth compatibility.

I use one...whenever I am out hunting alone...I put one in my wife's purse. I can check at anytime to see wtf she is at.

Get a Delorme In Reach unit and set the tracking on it and she can watch you all she wants, and you can text her to let her know how things are going.

I hunt solo a lot. My wife got me a spot PLB a few years ago, works great.

I bought a Garmin 64st that will do live tracking as long as I have cell service and I will look into the spot button.
