Pictures make the bear look huge. Congrats to the hunter, as that is a trophy bear for sure. I am always skeptical when an early or unnoficial score is given, so I am anxiously waiting to see if the skull actually does go over the 22" mark. If it does, the current Utah state record for Pope nad Young Blackbear is 21 13/16" killed by Todd Newby in 2003. I dont think there has ever been a black bear killed in Utah witha bow that goes over 22". This bear, if it does clear that mark would be the new state record! That would be awesome to see! Rob is the guy who shot it. He is my neighbors son, I talked to him on Sunday and he said it should go in the top ten of the state.
