Looking for scouting info

Just getting settled in after making the move to Peyton. I am looking to get started scouting.Any thoughts on 85, 851 How much puplic land is there? and how is the pressure?. I hunt Archery, muzzy and rifle for deer and elk. Any help or other ideas would be appreciated.

I used to hunt 85 alot, but the secrets out. Archery hunt west of North lake the first week and you'll have a blast. Lots of private land on the east side of hwy 12, but start knocking on doors and you may find a heck of a honeyhole. Lots of outfitters down there. Don't go during the muzzy season, every smokin joe jackarse is blowing on their bugles. Lots of rough country though that you can get away from the crowds during the archery. Good luck scouting!
