LAST EDITED ON Dec-16-06 AT 09:18PM (MST) by browtine (moderator)[p]The hunting community lost one of it's own on December 13th 2006. My uncle Jim was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and fish. Probably his biggest legacy will be his passing this passion on to his grandchildren.
Uncle Jim was buried by his family today. He was 68 years old. Years ago he killed a real nice mule deer that he just recently decided to mount. This buck was in the process of being mounted. Unfornuately, he passed away before it was completed. I will post a picture of his mule deer as soon as it is completed. He was extremely proud of it. He talked about having this done for many years and it saddens me that it wasn't completed before his passing. My uncle was a man of few words but once you got him talking about hunting he could talk for hours. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by my aunt Sharon, four daughters and their families, and numerous brothers, sisters, brother in law, nieces and nephews.
