lower slide lake unit 155 156

I have found some access to some public land, through some private, and was wondering how the deer are in this area. I know that 155 is wilderness, and I have a local to go with, but he is into elk not deer. Any help would be appreciated......I am looking to hunt the ground to the south west of lower slide lake. I will be hiking. Thanks
I am willing to share info in utah colorado or idaho..Elk or Deer.

Are ya going thru the Taylor Ranch?

I have cmaped at Lower Slide Lake campground and chased deer and elk to the north of camp.
