If you take the old road up from Skutumpah toward white mountain you will come to a fork where the old road went to the East (goes along the south side of white mountain) and a trail (also an old road) continues to the north and west. If you take the trail to the west side of white mountain you will come into a large bowl (38 59 04.71 N, 111 29 52.88 W), continue on the main trail through that bowl, through several smaller bowls the trail will come around to the west side of white mountain ending up in some thick pine trees. In those trees are several bogs and springs (approx 38 59 47.78 N 111 31 10.27 W). I have seen some of the biggest bulls up there between those bogs and that first big bowl. My Parents have had a cabin on Plateu Road at Accord for a long time. The size of the bulls has definitely gone down all over the Manti, but I think the wilderness area is a good place to look for a nice bull. Yes, there are 340's in that area still, you just have to hunt for them. In past years, I don't see as many mature bulls up there during the summer months, but they come into those areas during the rut because that is where the cows like to spend time. Depending on the amount of water (this year has been better) you can find bulls and cows rutting on the Big Duncan and in Duncan Draw. Good luck to both of you.
