maps 221-223

I drew the early rifle deer in this unit and I'm a non res, so I'm not real familiar with that country, where can I get some good maps for this area. Thanks for the help

This site you can order maps by hunt unit. Works great. Let me know what you see on your hunt. I drew a mid rifle hunt for the same unit. I am in utah and I will be doing a little scouting over the next couple months.

You can also contact the NDOW office in Ely NV and they will send you maps. I don't remeber what they cost.

I'm a fan of mytopo.com (http://www.mytopo.com/products/hunt-area-state.cfm?state=NV) - while a little more expensive, it puts an entire unit on one map (because it is inevitable that I want to hunt where two BLM maps meet...) and on waterproof paper.

If you then desire USGS 7.5 min quads for detail (free to download):

The "US topo" recent types are purty, with shaded relief, but seem to lack detail of the earlier (often 1970s) quads. I use the latter, but I'm an old dog.
