Maxium Diameter Of A Broadhead In Calif.

I know that the law in Calif. is the minimum diameter of a broadhead is 7/8" but is there a maximum and if so what is it? I looked in the regs. and I didn't find anything but I wanted to make sure I was right.

I doubt there is any "legal" maximum limit. Could be, but I never heard of it.

Anything after 1" will begin causing "arrow-dynamical" problems....couldn't resist. Flight characteristics, penetration, deflection, etc.

Thank you nickman, I checked with a friend of mine who is a Warden and you are correct there is no maximum diameter law. They cannot be less then 7/8" in diameter however this does not apply to expandable broadheads.
