With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the passing of a very important person which almost went unnoticed last week. Roland Lawrence "Larry" LaPrise, the man who composed the "Hokey Pokey" in the late '40s for a Sun Valley, Idaho ski crowd (a rowdy bunch, undoubtedly), died peacefully at the grand ol' age of 93.

The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin.

First they put his right leg in --- then the trouble started ...
