I seen this posted on Maybell General Stores Facebook page. I know that place is packed during most hunting seasons……………………………. RESERVATIONS!
The Maybell Campground now has the ability to reserve campsites online. This is a big change from the first come first serve situation in the past. If you utilize the campground, particularly during the hunting seasons, it would be important to check out this new opportunity. Users will need to set up an account in order to make a reservation. Setting up an account simply requires your name and an email, this is very easy to accomplish.

I stayed there last year for my antelope hunt in Unit 3. That hot shower was a welcome relief at the end of the day. Nice friendly people in Maybell. I got good information from the Maybell General Store. "Where the Hell is Maybell Colorado" is on the back bumper of my pickup.

Yep. Just drove through it Monday and showed the wife where my son and myself stayed on his antelope hunt a couple years ago. Real central for antelope hunt and the shower and store is great to have right there each afternoon. Don't stay in town for many hunts, but for a antelope hunt on 3 or 7 I would do it again and recommend it.
