Rudy is toast and Huckleberry is done as well, it looks like McCain won Florida but too close to call between him and Romney yet. now that the race is down to two men who is your money on? I'm going to say McCain, next Tuesday might wrap it up.

I'm moving to the Ruby Ridge area asap! J/K, but I'm thinkin about it. Rudy just dropped out but is'nt Huck in for the long haul? What about your boy Paul? Can you guys imagine 45,000 Hdudes running around Florida...LOL or 13%. Who knows, If its McCain or Mitt I think my money's on Mitt.

Don't much matter boys & girls ... dumb - dumb decided the election last night with his "State of the Union". Your next President is going to be a Democrat ... take it to the bank!

Paul and Huckleberry are done they just don't know it yet, if Paul is still in the running come may I'll vote for him but he's toast in any event.

Yes the state of the union, I got a chuckle out of one of the comments made afterwards " Bush decided to just take the credit where it hadn't been given"

What a bunch of hot air and crap he threw out, but in his defense it was his soap box and they all do the same.

I think McCain will win. My first choice would be Romney, but I would rather see Mccain win than Obama or Hillary.

I didn't think the Republicans had a chance. However, after seeing the 2 Democrats that are running, perhaps there is still
hope.

Some of the national polls show McCain beating Clinton or Obama.

I'm no fan of McCain, and a few days ago I said before voting for him I would take a long hard look at Obama. Well I have been looking and it looks like I may have to hold my nose and vote for McCain.

McCain does have a slight chance this fall because he can draw some of the swing vote, a couple of the polls do show him a point or two ahead of Hillary but with Obama an even split is the best he can do. if Obama can keep this modern day JFK thing going he may be unstoppable, if he takes the primary from Clinton he can make McCain look like a dinosaur in the debates.

I give up on picking the winner between Obama and Clinton, it changes by the hour.

I believe, and hope, that Romney will be the Republican nominee. I don't think McCain is the best candidate for the Republicans by any measure. Both races are essentially down to two candidates each. You have two very liberal candidates, one moderately liberal candidate who's postioned himself as a conservative and one actual conservative.

I think that Romney vs. either of the Dems would at least give voters a clear choice between a conservative and liberal. It would also give us the choice between someone who's actuallly been successful in the business world, and others who never have. When I look ar Mitt Romney, I see four things I like. First, he was incredibly successful with Bain Capital, second he saved the SLC Olympics after it was ready to fall on it's face and embarrass the whole state of Utah and third, he successfully governed a very liberal, democrat dominated state in Massachussets. I also like the moral values he brings as a Mormon. NO I am not a mormon, I'm catholic. He doesn't seem to wear his religion on his sleeve, but has answered the many questions about it openly and candidly, I think.

I wonder who each of the eventual nominees is going to select as their running mate? Edwards has set himself up as a king maker, or spoiler. I don't see anyone in that role among the Republicans.

Does anyone doubt that Romney would get the economy back on track?

"One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Mitt, has nothing more than slick hair and fast flip-flop speak, he hasnt a chance to win the nomination, it will be Mcain.

As for the lib vs con argument, if you think there's a clear choice, lib vs con in this race between the four top contenders, two from each side, youre mistaken. The dems dont have a liberal running, and the republicans dont have a conservative running, they both have politicians running who will do and say anything to get elected.

That's the truth and and it sucks, but it's the truth.

There is almost no chance for the republicans to hold the white house, it will be a dem ticket that takes back the oval office. In any event, I dont think anyone could do a worse job than Bush, so no matter what, this nation is headed for better times!

I would rather see Romney but I think it is McCains time. McCain will beat Hilbill and Husien and will be our next President. If McCain gets the nomination I am Mac backer all the way!!!!

I think folks have had enough of the Clintons just like they have had enough with the Bush's. That is why a Republican will be in office in 09

202 I fail to see where people being sick of the current administration as well as the previous one will ensure a republican gets elected this fall.

If anything this would give Obama the advantage, he's not a Clinton, a Bush buddy or a republican.

Edwards and Gulianni are pulling out today. Where they throw their support is going to make a big difference in momentum going into super tuesday for both parties.

GW's arrogance has cost the republican party dearly in my opinion. I really believe unless the democratic nominee shoots his or her self in the foot between now and November we're going to have a democrat in the white house.

Having said that, I vow to quit being disrespectful of GW I'm starting to feel kind of sorry for him.

Romney's is better qualified for the job but appaernetly the rest of the country don't think so as Mcain looks to have a slight edge.

Mike

I think it will be Romney vs Clinton. And NOTHING will rally the 'conservatives' like a Clinton. I think Clinton is beatable, but Obama would be tough for the Republicans to beat, but I believe Clinton will get the Socialist nomination, er I mean the Democratic nomination.

None of the four understand economics like Mitt, he is the only one that has been successful in the private sector AND the public sector. If MaCain gets the nod, I'll throw my support behind him. I would support Looney Paul over Clinton/Obama.

PRO

Define, develop, and sustain BOTH trophy and opportunity hunts throughout the state of Utah.

I really want to see Romney respresent the Republicans, but I think McCain will win it. Anyone who beats Obama and Clinton are fine in my book. I think I will throw up if they win.

Agreed, McCain isn't a bad guy but both the dems will make him look sorry in the debates, Obama would make him stutter.

McCain all but has the nomination, but the dems now that's a race. who's your money on in that one? since one of them will be the next president this is the important one.

This will be a very interesting topic to re-visit once the nominees are decided. Won't it be fascinating if Michael Bloomberg does decide to jump in as an independent? We'd have either two or three liberal candidates to choose from at that point.

T'final, I disagree with you on one point. I think our country could be a whole lot worse than it has been. I understand that you think it is pretty screwed up right now, and while I partially disagree with you about that, I also think you're partly correct. We probably disagree on the reason, more than the fact that it isn't as good as it can be.

I think it'll get a whole lot worse if we have to address another, bigger and more spectacular terrorist attack on our soil, and I do think that will eventually happen. I think who we elect as President is going to have a major impact on when it happens and how bad it is. Of the four, I think Clinton will be the worst at handling this threat.

Dude;
You better get ready to vote for Obama, I think Hillary is starting to sink before your very eyes.

I can't even figure out where to use my two Wyoming Antelope points for the draw this year. They were hard to get back paperwork and such since I drew and couldn't hunt last year.

Now how could I ever call this horse race it's the tightest I've seen in a while. I would say the Clinton machine will take over, but Obama in the speech regarding the State of The Union Address was quite impressive. No name calling 202, or pro he looked and sounded presidential. If Obama does win which my son assures me he will because of the young voters. McCain is not going to debate him well. Right now I'm saying Hillary which will be a better draw for McCain. Notice I did not say one negative thing about the present administration, it's my Feburary resolution.

I'm tired of America's two party system ie. Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton (maybe), then Bush (ex. Florida Governor). Lets brake the chain now. If Clinton gets the nod I will vote for either republican. If Obama is the nominee against Romney, I will vote Romney. If it is Obama against McCain, it will be like last time. I will vote for which ever I think will do the least damage. Really not sure who that is at this point.

Why would any of the candidates be better at stopping terrorist from attacking this country than the next? none of them are going to be stupid enough to let their gaurd down and lets face it the only reason we haven't had another attack is law enforcment not only here but with our allies.

Numerous attempts have been made since 9/11 and so far all have been ended by good intel and good people working hard to follow up all leads. if anything Obama and Clinton have pledged to put more effort into this , not less. the notion that any president can strike such fear into a suicide bomber that they run home crying is insane and we've already proven you can't win militarily against people spread all over the world. we have to catch them before they act just like we have been so far, but we'll never be 100% safe that's just reality.

How about stopping terrorism by not knowingly forging intelligence so that we don't look like total idiots to the rest of the world. How about building alliances with other countries that will help us fight the bad guys. How about finish one job (Osama) before moving to another. How about paying a little attention to domestic issues so that we don't divide the country making us weaker.

The candidate that convinces me they will do these things will get my vote.

MY vote is for ban Ki moon and the UN!! Because we need world Opinion to tell us how to behave. Sarcasm emphasized.

Cornhusker;

What you just said is preaching plain old common sense approach to the problems we face in this country. I wish that our goverment could apply it that way. I will not hold my breath waiting for them to wise up. We have too many members in congress that are trying to climb the ladder by stepping on other backs and they are too busy fighting the other party to apply your common sense.
Both Parties have members that are doing this, and until the American voter wises up and get rid of them, we will continue with the FUBAR as normal.
As for the American voter, I have given up on most of them as not giving a rat's butt unless it bites their wallet to much. Heck most of them know more about Brittany Spears and her problems then they do about their own elected officials.
I am not 100% convinced that the intelligence was forged, I lean more to the CIA just being stupid and dropping the ball with their information. I also think they dropped it again with stating that Iran is not seeking nuke weapons with their program.
