MEDICAL QUESTION???

In 1986 I screwed my Back up,one of many times since!

Anyway,I went in to the Quack mid summer of 1986,thought I'd had about all I could take!

JUDAS,don't know about that?

They ended up giving me some Cortisone Shots!

Thought I was kinda Young & Tough at the time!

GEEZUS you shoulda seen the Needles they used!

They wasn't no PISSCUTTER Needles I'll Clue you in on that!

I f'n near Passed out with the Pain being so severe!

Here's the Deal:

I've got a Friend that just got Bit right above the Butt Crack by a Bat!

He's in Ctitical Condition!

What I'm wondering & I've heard Stories of Rabies Shots to Humans with Big Ole Needles,sometimes sticking the needle in near the vertabrae but entering from the front/stomach side?

Just wondering if there's any Truth to that?

And how painful are the Shots?

If they're more Painful than the Needles I've been Stuck with that's gonna Hurt!

Rabies shots are now 4 doses in 14 days all in the upper arm.

i would think they would start with a small needle to numb the pain and then go with the big needle.

Never knew I had Trypanophobia till I seen them 6" Needles in 1986!

Be nice to your nurse and mention that the needle scares the crap out of you. They can give you Lidocaine before they go in with a big needle. Some nurses with do this before they start an IV. Those are the people you want taking care of you...
