ive hunted muleys with my muzzleloader for the last 5 years and have a good load worked out. this will be my first year hunting elk with my muzzy im curious what loads u guys use for elk and what u would consider to be the minimum load for elk. thanks.

I want at least a thousand pounds of KE hitting an elk with a muzzleloader, more is better. Max distance is important to, 150 yards is my max.

90 grains of BH 209 and a 350 gr FPB bullet if you have to use a conical, this will do the job. I would shoot one out to 150 yards.
