Minox HG vs Zen Ray ED2

Have looked through the HG's and was bery satisfied. Wondering how the ED2's compare to them any info appreciated. If you feel their is a better binoc than the minox for the money pleaes let me know thanks..

The obvious in hand differences are the smaller size of the Minox and the huge fov difference in favor of the ZEN. Fov can be a personal preference and can be over rated, but here, the difference is huge (nearly 2*) and obvious. The resolution, color, contrast, and detail are very close, but I would give an ever so slight nod to the ZEN. However a large group would likely split close to 50-50. Part of that is that at one magnification level it is 8.5x for the Minox and 8x for the ZEN. That .5x magnification will make more difference to some people than it will to others.

Thank you very much for your input. one of the only cons I dislike about the zen is the non locking diopter. However, that is just personal preference.
