Mississippi pot roast

Anyone here make make Mississippi pot roast.

Since making this a few years ago I've quit de-boning deer shoulders. If it's a large buck I'll cut it into two roast or freeze the left overs.

I've also used this recipe with elk shanks and it's great.

Definitely done all sorts of variations on that. Can’t go wrong. I like the Cajun style with corn, tomatoes and lots of Cajun seasoning
