Montana deer/elk combo questions? Dates?

What are the dates I can hunt if I put in for unit xxx which is a general unit?

You have to draw a 'general' combo tag before you can put in for a special license in unit xxx... The general tag is good for both archery and rifle seasons. basically Labor Day weekend to Thanksgiving Sunday.
