Moose for my Son

I'm just starting to look at getting a moose hunt for my son.
I've been asking him what he wanted to do for his senor year before he leaves for a mission or college and he finally told me he wanted to kill a moose.
I discussed with him about the only places to do that in a year and a few months would be Canada or AK. I'm sure there is nothing in the states that we could guarantee a tag is there???
He actually didn't care if he killed a cow or a bull or even a small bull.
I've been thinking about a few Canadian outfitters and trying to see if they had any openings.
If anyone has any other ideas let me know.
Cheapest one I can find is maybe Mikes Outfitting early archery bull tag?

Thanks,
Houston

Actually that really helped. Lots of good hunts for reasonable prices.
That being said.
Anyone hunt Newfoundland? any outfitters to look at. ?
Anyone have any info on Effords hunting adventures.???

My price range is preferably between 5k and 8k and it will just be me as a tag along unless we could find something DIY.
I cannot afford 2 tags yet.

Thanks again.

There's several moose units in WY that usually go undersubscribed for cow tags each year in the non res draw. $1000+ is a lot to spend for a cow, but there's always that option

I had a great hunt last fall in newfoundland with Island Safaris outfitters. I ended up taking a 47 inch, 20 pt. bull. Message me if you have questions.
