Mt. Emily Elk

How many points do you have? It sounds to me like mt emily is about the best unit a nonres has a chance of drawing without a huge amount of points. nwhunter

I have 11 points and agree that a better unit might take a long time.

The only reason that the big three NE units are any good at all is because the state limited tags because of low calf survival. Purely by accident. ODFW does not manage for quality.

I guess sometimes it's better to be "Lucky than Good".Hope ODFW doesn't screw it up!

send me a pm and I will hook you up with some good info on where to look. I bear hunt it a lot and have found some good bulls. Last year there was nobody hunting these bulls at all only a mile off the main road during archery season. Growler bulls
