A friend of mine took a 1st timer Muley hunting, actually 1st time hunting anything. They were archery hunting in one of our late archery units in north central Washington. The newbee sat down for a break and basing his only experience deer hunting off the outdoor channel, he decided to try some rattling. Problem was he didn't have any antlers so he picked up a couple sticks and proceded to rattle. Low and Behold he rattled in a nice 5 x 5 muley, he then missed it at about 20 yds. 2 days later he went back to the same spot and rattles the same 2 sticks again and Killed that same 5 x 5. I don't know if was begginers luck or a case of rattling at the right time.
On the other hand I have tried on several occasions to rattle Muley's with "0" success.
