Hello again, Thinking again about what to get in a 50 cal. Now thinking about a Knight Bighorn or Disc Extreme. I've handled a Bighorn but to me feels real barrel heavy. Does the Disc Extreme seem different? Trying to get the best one as I will only get one for the next ???? Any thoughts etc would be great. Thanks in advance.

I'd get the Disc Extreme (DE)or The Knight Mountaineer.
If you can use 209 primers and want to try Blackhorn 209 powder the Mountaineer is set up correct for it.
I'm sure if you bought one direct from Knight, they could set up a DE with bare primer ignition and you would be good to go on using blackhorn powder.
If you need to use #11 percussion caps for ignition then the DE with the "Western" ignition is good.

I like the Bighorn. It does seem a little barrel heavy but IMO its because the stock is so light. I have the stainless w/ the thumbhole stock. Shoots great and you can make it shoot 209's or percussion caps.
