Kind of a cool story too,
4 weeks ago the boy broke his right collar bone, I was going to
turn the tag back in.....THE BOY WOULD HAVE NO PART of that.

We found an old tripod, mounted a shooting stick on it,
and practiced left handed...all went well, we set it up
in the blind......

11" beard,, 1 1/16 spurs,, 21 Lbs 7 ozs...A NICE ONE!

Took it to the taxi shop, going to mount this one for him..
Now, my youngest boy has a tag for the next hunt.....
hopefully we can pull it off again!

It's been a long hard ride
Got a ways to go
But this is still the place
That we all call home

Great to see your son's determination rewarded with his best turkey yet. Props to the young man.

Very fine! Congrats to your son on a great bird. He must be pretty tough to hunt through that!

Nice bird goofy. Did you kill him behind your house? I am guiding the wife again like last fall and hope to get her a bird off the pauns if there are any left.
Good luck to your other kid.
