My 44 buck

What a great hunt! I drew this tag on second chance so I didn't have much scouting time in. I was pretty much scouting while I hunted and figuring out areas. None the less I saw so many deer and tons of bucks!! I passed bucks I never thought I would pass which makes for sleepless nights. But I was fortunate enough to harvest this old brute. I loved his character. It was a fun season with good hunting buddies. Can't wait to get this tag again.

My son had a supertag and we looked at hundreds of bucks in unit 44. He finally chose the one he wanted in 45. It was tough for a first timer to not shoot one when we saw so many every time we would go. He will join MM and post his pics one of these days.

My taxidermist said 6 1/2 to 7 years old. He has 42 inches of mass.

All I can saw is WoW. There have been some beasts taken this year and this is one of my favorites....dark horned, mass, awesome kickers. Freaking Stud. Congrats.
