My scouting buddy ..& the Nomad in action

I'm pretty proud of my little scoutin' buddy! He loves to go with his dad. I'm asked almost everyday if we can go look for deer and elk!

Given this is 'Optics' - thought I should show the Vortex Nomad in action. I've had this scope out quite a bit and compared it to some highend stuff - I'm pleased.

Nice photo there. Getting ready to pick up a Nomad scope myself. What tripod is that there in the picture? Need one of those to.

Thanks guys - one day it just may be his scope! I just bought him a cheapo pair of binocs to destroy - he loves 'em!

The tripod is a Manfrotto[http://www.manfrotto.com/jsp/index.jsp] with a joystick ball head - I think they are the best out there for lighter spotting scopes. The joystick head doesn't hold solid enough for heavier scopes.
