With over 14,000 acres on two different properties we offer some outstanding deer hunting in the Sandhill Region of Western and Central Nebraska for Whitetail and Mule deer. Hunting the Sandhills of Nebraska is a fantastic experience for even the most seasoned hunters.
Rifle season is November 11-19, 2023 (9-days) allowing you to harvest either a Mule Deer or a Whitetail.
Muzzleloader season is December 1-31, 2023.
These ranches have been hunted over the past 3 years with 100% opportunity on quality bucks. We have taken Whitetail up to 12 points (Eastern count) and 5X4 Mule deer with larger bucks seen in both species.
We can take up to 12 bucks on these two ranches, located out of Mullen and Thedford. Hunts are divided into 8 rifle hunts (11/11-19) and 4 muzzleloader hunts (December 1-31, 2023). Hunts are unguided, but with the use of OnX Maps, borders of the ranches are very easy to maneuver. Former owner Ron Lara, will be there during Rifle season and can answer any questions you may have. We recommend the use of side by sides as the countryside consists of rolling hills and many of the deer are bedded in valleys where you can only detect them from the hilltops.
If hunting Whitetail, it is best to do some “rattling”, as the rifle season and first part of the Muzzleloader season is during the “rut”. It can be a very exciting time as the bucks come sneaking into your set.
