Need Help With Encore Load

Can anyone help?

I'm hunting CO. So, i need to shoot a conical bullet and powder "not pellet form".

I'm wanting to stick with Pyrodex powder 150gr., as to get Max speed and Max. energy.

So, is there any conicals that shoot real well out of the 50. cal encore?

i'm thinking about using the new CVA--Powerbelts or T/C's--PTX conical bullets.

Any suggestions

Try going down to only 2 pellet and se if it shoots better, My MK-85 shoots best with only 2 and my buddys shoots best with 3

If you read my message, "NO pellets" in CO

I need to use powder form, furthermore, I need to find a conical slug instead of the normal sabots i've been shooting.

a .44 cal XTP 240gr. with 3 pellets shoots superb in my Encore.

BUT, i'm looking for a conical load for an Enocre .50 cal

I had an MK-85 and it shoots alot different than my Enocre.

Can anyone else point me in a direction.
