Need Moose help

I'm considering putting in for Unit #17 Moose. I called the fish & Game officer in that Unit, and he wasn't much help. Could anyone that's been or hunted in this Unit, give me some insights. Thanks I would appreciate any help that you can give me.

I called the Biologist for Moose Unit #17. He wasn't much help. He said they flew it with a helicopter, and didn't see a moose, but he said they flew the winter range, and they didn't have much snow this year, so he thought that the moose where still up high. Not much to go on. I would sure Like to here from somebody that's hunted it in the last couple of years. Being it's a once in a lifetime hunt for me, I'd like all the info I could get.
