Long story short, I had some trips planned to head up there to scout in the next few weeks but just lost one of our vehicles(only one with 4x4, other vehicle is a car) to some mechanical issues. I hope to have it back by the 1st, but I am SOL for scouting trips atleast for the next week.
What I am asking for from ya'll is a little help in a direction to head. I will have between 3-5 days to get it done and don't want to waste time in areas that are void of elk. I can either sit a watering, spot and stalk or whatever it takes.
I have a very rough idea where to go but since I probably won't make any trips, I guess I might be going in blind for the opener.
I would be more than happy to trade information, wings/beer, help, etc.
