Need some help with a scope.

I have a rem.700 ML. I am wanting to get a
scope for it. What are the good one's, and what one's should a
guy stay away from.How about scope rings? p.s. Tight on money.

I have several rifles with Bushnell Trophy 3-9x40 scopes and never had a problem.They can be had for under $100.
Also Nikon Prostaff is a good scope for a little over $100 .
Most scopes of today with a good name brand are good scopes .It is more a personal preference.

I mostly use Weaver or Millet steel rings ,They have both served me well.
