Good deer. 26" wide. Not great forks. 165-168 gross. The eye guards might get you to 170 but maybe not. Pretty cape, too. If I was a youth with a tag I'd get an ichy finger. Kill it and let highcountrykillr score it. Then it will gross dang near 187. : ). On second look it looks like his points on his left side are broke or just squared off for some reason. 164 gross. Decent frame just lacking in time length. Still an awesome youth buck.
I thinks he's a nice buck in the 170-174 gross range. That kicker might be just enough for me to draw down a fine bead if i had the kind of tag you're talking about.
I've had a few good hunts in my day and always said that this is the kind of buck i don't want to come across until the last weekend. As it has worked out, seems like these are the kind of bucks i'm destined to end up with and i guess that ain't so bad.

I'd say he's 161" main frame, so with the kicker I'd give him 165"... It looks like you're pretty close to him here. I dont think you could pass him up on a youth hunt unless you find something else as big or bigger that would be as "easy" of a shot... He is mature, and would make a great trophy. If your little bro expects something bigger than that at his young age- I dont think there's any help for him... He's a trophy chaser already...

High 160's. Don't worry about score too much. Make sure that young dude has a great experience. As long as that's right the score could be 100 and he'll still be telling his kids about it years from now. Best luck to the both of you.
Kiko, everyone is in the ballpark of what that deer will score, tell your bro to hold out, there are some piggs in that unit...the monsters will show up, dont shoot too early in the hunt, unless he is a GIANT!
I'm going to disagree a little, I think with a generous tape you could get 165" but his forks are shallow and he has some breakage or stunted tines on his left side I think he will be 160ish.
