Wondering how the early winter is going for the deer. Seems like the late winter and early spring can be more devastating, but was wondering how things are so far.

It was really wide open until about 3 weeks ago. Not much snow still but it has been cold. There is be little to no winter kill because the critters were able to put on good fat reserves and they can still feed. We still have lots of geese here who are wintering over.
