I told Mikey his uncle had a premium tag and there was a chance we would not make his hunt as my buddy Louie also had other plans for this weekend.
Gabes hunt ended Saturday,and we came home Sunday.Monday was spent unloading everything and taking care of the meat.
I called up Mikey on Monday and told him to be ready at 4 this morning we were going hunting.We got up there at 6:30 and started hiking.
At a mile and a half back, We spot this bull looking at us.Mikey was on him and dropped him in his tracks.
Not a big un but a great first bull

A few other bulls ran towards us as we were taking care of Mikeys
Oh and by the way this was our last elk tag.We had a great elk season.So don't looking for the thread "Grandmas elk"
