Hello, my son and I drew that tag some years ago and encountered a major snow storm whereby we spent three days winching, towing, and hi-jacking locals back on to the road. We were surprised the number of locals totaly unprepaired for bad weather. Lot's of hunters stranded in higher ground cause of early storms. Did see some nice bucks though with spotting scope in the high open areas. WE tried to get up through the deep snow but next to impossible. The deer seemed to realize it was still early and weren't about to move lower. After three frustating days of -8 degrees temps and a very sucessful hunt in N. Utah we headed for home. Wish you the best of luck on your hunt. Be sure to contact the local bioligist for an update before heading out, creeks, canyons, mts. etc. Regards
