I posted in the Nevada forum a couple weeks ago, but no responses so I thought I'd try the elk forum as well.
I've got a late season bull elk tag for these units. I've collected maps, scouted extensively using Google Earth, read the Hunt Information Sheet and talked to a couple of other hunters who have had this draw, but I'd really like to obtain as much info as I can. The units are huge, and it's been difficult to narrow down a decent starting area - mostly because the folks I've spoken to so far saw very few elk!
I'd appreciate any and all info on the quality of the unit, where I should start looking, and what the elk are doing that time of year (my tag is Nov 6-20).
