nevada units 71-79, 91

I was fortunate enough to draw an early season archery deer tag in nevada for unit 71-79. I have no experience with this area and I am extremely excited to get to know the area. Any information about deer hunting in this area would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I had a 091 elk tag last year and between 4 days scouting in late July and 5 days of scouting and actual hunting in Sept. I never saw a single deer.

Hot, and possible fires. Get up high as possible and early if you wanna see deer. Water also matters in the desert more than other states with more water. Lots of time deer feed up high and have to go lower to find water. Best of luck and hope it doesnt burn down.

My buddies killed 2 deer over 180 during the muzzy season in 71 last year.
