New AZGFD survey

Ok. How many of you have seen the new survey on the dept's website? What do you think? I'll hold my comments for now, as to not persuade possible replies.

They at least had some of the youth issues.

Its all about more hunters in the field. read that as more money in their pockets. They did cover jr issues and bear and lion issues buts thats about it. I with they would cover more important issues such as antelope numbers and why they are killing more than the recruitment every year in some units. Killing to many bulls in some units that are to managed for trophy bulls. Lets not even bring up deer mgmt in this state. As you can tell I'm not a big fan of AZGFD. I think their slogan of "managing todays wildlife for tomorrow" is a joke. Its easy to manage them if they are all gone. I'm sure I'll get flamed for saying that but hey nothing can get fixed unless there is convo.

Just so you know, according to Brian Wakeling, Game Branch Chief, at the public meetings on this subject around the state, we in Kingman have had the largest turnout to date of interested folks and that was a very dismal 9 people!

I also found out that there has been about 1,000 people who have taken the survey on line, and that is very important.

Believe me when I say that our Commission is going to look at all this data before they decide on these issues, so it is important that each of you weighs in on these subjects, no matter how you feel.

You all know I'm outspoken when it comes to juniors and hunting opportunities for them.

There are a couple of questions about kids and hunting opportunities on this survey.

Please speak your mind of this and the other issues.

You all know how I feel, so I'm not going to stump about it.
