new member/ maine moose draw

Hi, I've posted a few times, but would like to say how much I enjoy the info on sheep and moose on this forum. I know our Maine bulls don't fit in the western category, but from my dealings with sheep hunters over the years, I'm guessing that there are a few of you out there who try for a Maine permit. The drawing is this Thursday evening. 2900 total permits, with 10% of them going to non-residents. 19,000 NR applicants in '05. Names listed on F&W web site Friday AM: <www.mefishwildlife.com> All the major newspapers in Maine list the names too, and it's their biggest volume day of the year every year! Good luck to anyone trying, you'll need it. Guy
