I just finished up a great elk hunt, helping a friend who had a mobility impaired tag for 16A. The fellow had a hard time walking, as he has a prosthetic knee and both hips, plus other ailments.
It was a wonderful hunt, guided by Andy Carrejo of G3 Outfitters. This was my buddy's first ever elk hunt and he shot a beautiful bull.
The reason I wanted to post though is to make all 16A bound hunters aware of a great place to stay on your hunt. The N Bar ranch is located in the south central portion of 16A, about 50 road miles from Reserve. The accommodations were comfortable small cabins with 2 beds per cabin. They provide meals, have showers and I think it's well worth considering for any 16A hunts. I highly recommend the N Bar Ranch.
