NEW TO HUNTING

Hello i am new to hunting i have been into archery for a while now and always wanted to go out and hunt but have been hesitant to because well i don't know anything about where to look for game or how to even scout. i go hiking all the time and love the outdoors what mostly interests me if backcountry hunting if anyone could help me out with some advice as to how to scout what to look for info about the backcountry i would really appreciate it or even a hunting buddy would be grand
