Dont have a ton of $$ to upgrade to a really nice video camera but I am going to get a new camera for our YouTube channel videos. What is the best video camera/camcorder for the money and features and video quality? Any input.

If you want to go crazy, get a https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1376294-REG/panasonic_lumix_dmc_gx85_mirrorless_micro.html

and a 100-300mm zoom to capture super incredible closeups of critters at longer range.

I gone completely crazy and shoot with a GH5 and my dads old 600mm nikkor lens with an adaptor.

Just understand that this whole filming thing is s bottomless pit :)

Depending on how long a video you need, cameras that shoot video are limited to 29 minute clips. If that works for you then the optics and sensors are better and larger in a DSLR. Best bet would be a Sony. Best selling mirrorless cameras on the market or the Canon M50, as you can use most of the EF Canon lenses with their adapter

So Joel this 29 min limit can you just push stop and start and your good for another 29 minutes? I have been packing a camera for years and can't imagine needing more with anything I do, but hate to have to worry about it in a pinch. It seems like a camera is going to give better quality for the money with what I am looking at.
