Natural Asset Companies are a huge threat to hunting recreational use etc.

I had heard mumblings about this in September. Now it looks like the ugly thing is moving forward. The NYSE has asked the SEC to create a new label/category. This would incentivize the purchasing of land/and or leases that will only allow :sustainable practices". While on face value that sounds like a win for wildlife, the issue becomes what is considered sustainable. Hunting would, but trapping not, predators would be off limits. Motorized recreation not at all. It would shift the control of land away from local communities and be given to private investors from around the world. It could allow a Russian/Ukraine Company to purchase Oil and Gas lands remove them from production in the US while they expand production in their home countries.

Look it up see what you find. It is Carbon Capture, Carbon Credits on steroids. It will take lands our of public use and make the government and private partnership strong wealthy and powerful.

It will take away any local control and give investor powerful control over our lands...

Yeah, pretty scary proposition, this will make the price of land that much more expensive than it already is. All these things were funds and corporations are getting into housing and land is bad for most of us. I still cant believe we allow actors of governments super hostile to America to buy land here…
