For those not familiar DiamondBlade is the premium line for Knives of Alaska. I am the original owner and carried this one hunting season, but I don't believe I ever cut anything (unfortunately LOL), and has spent about 5 years in my knife drawer. I believe the limited edition with McMillan is pretty rare, and this is SN 0227. The D2 blade is 4" and has no rust etc, and the scales are a dark blue/ black with mosaic pins. It is the nicest hunting knife I've ever seen, but need the cash unfortunately.
Note: DiamondBlade makes the bold claim that they are "...the finest, sharpest and longest lasting cutting edge of any knife in the world"...After handling easily hundreds of knives I would agree it is the sharpest I have ever felt, except maybe a Havalon which is basically a scalpel...I just Googled for some more info on this McMillan model and it looks like Field & Stream and Shooting Illustrated agree.
