Nikon fog

I have a Nikon Fieldscope ED and for the first time I have some condensation/fog on the inside of the optical zoom len. Its wierd because the last time I used the scope it wasn't wet or humid out. I've tried to dry it out the last two days but no change.

Has anyone had this happen before? What causes it and will it go away or do I need to send it in for repair.

Thanks!

I had a Nikon Buckmaster rifle scope that got the internal fogging twice at the worst possible time. Both times when I sent it in for repairs they told me that the seal had went bad. If I were you I would have them in the mail by the end of the day. The fogging may go away for now. You can bet your bottom dollar that at the time you will need them the most you will see nothing but fog.
