NM RESULTS

ACCORDING TO TODAYS ABQ JOURNAL. THE RESULTS WILL BE OUT TOMORROW JULY 2ND.

The results are out:

Father was unsuccessful.
I was unsuccessful.
My wife drew an elk (anterless) tag for the valle vadal(Oct 9-13).
My son drew an youth elk tag(unit 34 bull or anterless) and a youth Ibex tag.

Anyone got any information about Ibex. This is a new one for me.
What a wonderful day.

CONGRATS! MUST BE NICE. I AM 1 FOR 9 THIS YEAR IN NM. AND I DREW MY SECOND CHOICE DEER BOOO. I PUT MY COUSIN IN FOR A YOUTH ELK HUNT AND HE DID'NT EVEN DRAW. WE ARE RESIDENTS. I GUESS I'LL HAVE TO BUY A TAG.

dont feel bad about not getting a tag. You are a resident and mad about not drawing, hell I am a non resident and apply for 12 states and pay extortion fees to apply, thats not fair either. When I was a resident of a elk state (Job placemnt moved me), I had a better advantage but still thought it was a rip off and didnt hunt much, now I feel it more.
I see both sides of the story..dont feel bad..stay patient and visit me if you want to go whitetail hunting or free in Ohio.
