Northern Utah Snow Goose hunting

Anyone on here ever hunt snows in northern utah?

Don't pass on the first day if you would shoot it the last day

First year worked out around Corrine and we bagged some whites. However, the past three years have seen very few prior to the close of the season. They have came after the season closes. Talked to a few locals that had a few good days where they live right there however!!!

If you got land to hunt on then you should have a hell of a time.

from what I have found, and I know its not 100% the case with all, but the farmers get pissed with all the geese eating and tearing things up, so they get a hunt to try to thin things out a bit, then the same farmers lease/charge people to hunt their fields. Makes it tough for the average Joe like me.

But if you can get into the property and a few (thousand) decoys, you should be set. Wish I could go.
