Wanted to see if any body has killed game with this bullet at long range? I am developing a load for my 7mm Rem mag with this type of bullet, with all intentions to go Elk and Barber sheep hunting. Max distance that I would take a shot at live animal would be 800 yards. Please let me know.

I was at nosler in Redmond Oregon and bought a box of 3o cal 210grn LR they guy there told me that the LR are not a good hunting bullet, I shoot them out of my 30. 378 haven't killed anything yet with hope to to see how they work

That's good info! I called Nosler two days ago to see why the B.C are different from the first box I bought. Then asked him if they was a good bullet for hunting.?. He said yes he uses a regular accubond on anything like 400 and closer, anything pass that he is using the LR. I'm gonna have to find out for myself as well. I've heard of Berger?s Ice pick some animals. I think as long as my shot placements are on point they should be fine. Thanks for the info!
