LAST EDITED ON Jun-03-10 AT 00:03AM (MST)[p]More to come.
An explosion this afternoon at the Nosler plant in southwest Bend damages the building, but luckily no one was injured. ?Ben? heard the fire call on the scanner around 2:00 and headed out to the plant to see the damage. ?And when I got there the building already exploded. There was water coming from what appeared to be sprinkler pipes. This orangish light colored smoke coming out of the building in multiple different spots, but you could tell there was still something burning- there was a lot of heat.? Nosler spokesman Zack Waterman says he doesn't know exactly what happened to cause the lab part of the building to explode and blow off the roof. ?We experienced a pretty major explosion. It looks like there some pretty good damage to the building. We have no casualties or injuries to speak of with any of the employees, so we're lucky in that point. But we're not sure what happened, to be honest.? Waterman says everyone did get out of the building safely and other than some possible smoke inhalation, everyone seems to be fine. Nosler employs about 100 people at its Bend plant.
Horrible Video
