My neighbor shot a nice bull opening weekend of the Montana archery season down on the north side of the Missouri breaks, bull was all alone. He stated bulls still in bachelor groups. Same story on the ranch I hunt in SC Montana. Good news is most of the state received much needed moisture, rain, snow the past couple days which is a blessing after the terrible fires of last week.
