Nv 62, 64, 66-68 early rifle bull

Does anyone have experience with the area and willing to help? I plan. to get in several scouting trips before the season starts. I would prefer DIY, but would also consider a guide since i most likely will not draw the tag again in my life. I will try to contact the local wardens and biologist once I feal I know enough about the area to have an intelligent conversation and ask good questions. I have a SxS, but also have a good pack frame if I need to pack in. Thank you

Man with a bull elk I would probably hire a guide 350 is pretty tuff to come by. If your looking for 300-320 those are easier to find on your own.

I would be tickled with a quality hunt and a mature bull. I'd be excited by a huge elk, but it's not the priority.

A 350 bull is very achievable if you hunt hard and stay mobile. There are much bigger bulls that come out of there every year.

My advice would be to stay somewhat mobile and be willing to move around. If you hunt the whole season and do a lot of glassing your chances of being successful on a quality bull are pretty dang good.

As far as SXS there are a ton of roads but you can also get away from them to glass and that helps a lot. It doesn't take much either.
